The reason for this application is to ensure that those who join the forum, and more importantly, those who attend events, are not the kind of people who will cause trouble. This may sound silly, or even pompous, but we would rather prevent trouble than have to deal with it afterwards. If you've browsed through the forum or attended any of our events you know that we are a really fun group. The application is pretty short and I doubt we'll actually reject any.
