Yesterday, yellow and red C5 convertibles, and a pair of old Chevys at Frisch's (one 57 and the other early 50s)
Day before that, red C6
Today, the same Commemorative edition Z06 |

the bubble = Carmel.
also spotted a sky blue Bently Continental GT or Flying Spur. Am I the only one that prefer a VW Phaeton over a Flying Spur?
and if Liz can tell the difference between BRG and Prism Green, she's definitly a keeper ! |

Actually, a replica (Superformance). There's a difference in build quality and detail -and the real 427 side-oiler counts for something...
Doesn't matter though- she's fun to drive, and the sound of a big block breathing through lake pipes at wide-open throttle just does it for me. |

Rob...glad you found the site. Sorry to be the stalker at the gas station. Can't help myself when I see a beautiful car and a driver that likes to actually drive it. And welcome to Hooiserland too. Far cry from sunny Florida. We'll get you to some of the state's twisty roads soon enough.
Don't worry about Floor It and the other Vette guys...fragile egos, except when they all pound DC's Lambo into the ground...(OK, you Vette guys all know I'm just kidding there...except for beating up on DC's Diablo. LOL!)

Thanks Mark! Your car was looking VERY nice as well. I really need to start carrying my camera with me.
No offense taken by the kit car comments. Car is fast, not as fast as some, faster than others, and leaves me intoxicated by fumes every time I drive it. Same thing with the bikes. Most of the replicas I've seen are sporting small blocks.. probably better weight distribution, maybe even better reliability. Though I personally think if you're going to put a small block in, you should at least make it a Ford. Anyway, I'll still take the big block any day. |

As for as I know there are only original 2 AC Cobra big blocks in Indiana one is a green one here on the north side and another one in the northern part of the state.
You might see the green one on a nice weekend, the guy does drive it..
He was at my house a couple of weeks ago..... You will be able to tell by the real original Halibrnd (sp) wheels.... As far as the kit car I am sure it is fun to drive.
big blocks are a gas.... If you see a old guy with gray hair driving a black one stay away he is cluless.... |
