The Windy City Z Club is hosting the 9th annual Midwest Z Heritage Fest and invites participation from the ChicagoZ.com forum members. We are asking for both event participation in attendance and helping out with holding this event. Last year 95 Z cars from all over the Midwest attended this event in Nashville, Indiana. This year we are also inviting other old school performance Datsuns and new school Gs and GTRs to the event. Host hotel is the Marriott in Lisle on RT 53.

Indy Z Car Club represented well. We walked away with 7 trophies for 7 cars entered in the show portion. Also had best attendance for any traveling club. Four of the cars also run with MWSCC, so we represented MWSCC well.
We had a number of cars that had to drop out of the trip at the last minute due to family reasons. If they had made it, we would have seriously cleaned house. We are waiting for final judgement on whether we won the very coveted Traveling Trophy! All the initial numbers point to Yes, so stay tuned.
We got to run touring laps on the South Track at the Autobahn. Weather was pretty good, warm and humid, with rain happening during the last 5 minutes of the show on Saturday.
Kudos to Windy City Z and ChicagoZ for putting on a great show.
If we did win the Traveling Trophy, look for this event to move back to Indy for 2009!
Nice representing I like the 350Z convertible. Is it dark blue or black? It almost looks blue but it could just be the lighting. Either way it looks great

The Blue 350Z Vert replaces their older LeMans Sunset 350Z Vert that was totaled in Brown County last year when they were run off Hwy 135 by an ambulance that came around a blind turn in their lane. They rolled the vert and came away with some bad injuries but alive. Great couple that does not drive like fiends. Lots of witnesses where there for that one.
The 2003 Brickyard 350Z was purchased the day before the show in Chicago. Rare color. Not a speck of dust anywhere on the car, as if it was driven off the showrrom floor in 2003. They also have a 93 300ZX Vert that was sitting back in Indy with brake issues. Talk about an impulse buy! Something SMS would understand.
The Orange 240Z with the LS1 swap and 6-speed manual would be a good one to run the Diablo against...once he stops breaking u-joints.
Doug on here was supposed to be there with hs Red 300ZXTT, but had to back out at the last minute to be a responsible dad. He'd have walked away with a trophy if he had made it.
I didn't sell any lowered seat brackets, but it was definitely discussed.
