Ugh. Thought my speeding ticket woes were over. Paid my $265 fine for speeding in Peach County GA over the summer. 90 in a 70. Got a notice today saying that since I was convicted of speeding and my speed was over 85 miles an hour, I am a Super Speeder!!! and get the lucky privilege of paying Peach County an additional $200. When I saw Super Speeder I thought I was the new super hero poster child for a redneck county in GA; nope. Just an idiot who owes another bunch of $$$. Should have bought the damn Valentine One....oh well.

90 IS the normal speed limit in Georgia! How can they double charge you? Doesn't seem quite legal...Every time we go to Savannah we get passed by yah-who's who don't use turn signals and ignore all speed limit signs...I would fight this one if I were you...but then of course, I just got my first speeding ticket in 30 years...85 in a 65...couldn't charm the young state highway official...
