Well, whaddya get?

I got a new David Clark aviation headset and a SW1911.

More importantly, yesterday was the first time Kelly and I spent longer that two or three hours together (awake) since I surprised her by driving down to Atlanta (in the NSX) to join her at a conference the weekend of Nov 19-21 (I grew up in ATL so there was plenty to busy myself with/people to visit while she was at the conference during the day). Since then we have both been so busy, that I don't think we have spent more than 3 waking hours together at one sitting. In fact, THIS weekend is the first weekend we've BOTH been home since then!! So it was nice to spend the day together yesterday, and even though she was on ER call, she wasn't called in (today is a different story, she's been at the hospital since 7:30 this morning and I don't expect her home until after 9. That is typical call!!)

That shore is purdy! Who'da thought that a gun model made in 1911 would see combat in WW1, WW2, Korea and Vietnam, and continues to be going strong and relivant today?
