Not too bad once you get used to it

Pretty sure this owner is on the board, if so it's not their first Lotus

Not sure who you saw, me or my husband. I'm thinking you saw me, and if I had to guess it was at the worst possible time. But then isn't that how life works.

I actually left there and went to the Emergency Room at Norton Suburban. I probably should have left the car there, but I wasn't sure what was going on with me. I had been out driving for several hours and was fine. When I pulled into the lot and stopped, not only could I barely get out, but I fell against the car several times and nearly didn't make it into the building. Making it further embarassing, someone in the lot asked me about the car so I had to work to stand there without falling over. Same thing on the way out. In hindsight I should have sat down and called someone.

I'm scheduled for a CT scan today.

And yeah, as KG said, this is our third Lotus, we sold one, still have an Elise and the Exige is new. So I'm fairly adept at getting out when things arent "spinning".

Wow. Sorry to hear about all this.

I was only joking about how tricky it is to get in and out. Now I feel bad. Let us know how your further visits go if you don't mind. Best of luck to you and your family.

Well it's freaking 7pm and I'm finally home.

Turns out I have some sort of virus they think which is effecting my vistibular or vestibular blah blah blah which controls your balance. My normal doctor was contacted by the hospital and turns out I was the fifth one he'd had a call on today with the SAME thing. So apparently it's a virus.

I also have some seriously messed up sinuses, so I have penicillin and some other crap to take.

It's just my luck that when I'm falling around like a drunkard, someone would spot me.

But then my husband just pointed out that he doesn't think fourring saw me, which, if thats the case, LMAO at me for my giant explanation.

Good timing!
lol

I was gonna call tonight, and got tied up.

I have to go back in three weeks. He didnt say anything about not driving, but wrote a prescription for someting called "antivert". So Im not sure what I'm going to do in the interim.

Get better before the Cruise and Ghost tour at the end of July! I would love for you all to represent the Lotus group at this meet.

Funny you mention this virus. One of my associates has missed two days of work with similar conditions (dizziness, imbalance when standing up, fevere blister, fever, etc). She has been diagnosed with a virus and told to rest for a few days. She took Zpac last week but it did little to help. Sounds like this virus is something nasty .
Best of luck and hope you get feeling better.

I dont know how the hell I got a virus, I've become OCD with hand washing and disinfecting ever since having a premature baby.

I dont have a fever blister or anything like that. I'm just tired, and have been having bad night sweats. Wheeee. I think my "spirited driving" the few hours before my spinning/drunk "feeling" incident might have been what threw me over the edge. The doctor agreed.

Oh, and the antivert thing above....lol, I read your post and didn't correlate antivert with anti convertible. I thought you may have been looking for a BMWCCA thread and got lost. Those guys are really picky when it comes to verts and track days.
