Hey Shaggy! It sucks to loose a fellow Lotus guy. Do you know his name on ET? Our tires don't really warm up with temps below 40F. R.I.P. Willie.

God what a loss, 25 years old.
None of our stick much below about 50. WE HAVE TO TAKE IT SLOW when it's cold even though it's really really tough when we're all together.

From what I've seen so far I don't think he was an E-talk member, or atleast an active one. When I see events like this and photos like these I'm always either surprised at how well or how badly the Elise held up. It seems like there is no real middle ground with them when it comes to high speed impacts.

Oh, and I was reminded of the tire thing just a week or two ago. I was completely sideways in the middle of a busy road one night. I had just left a restaurant and hadn't allowed the tires to warm up much. Wasn't pushing it by ANY means but the back swung around very quickly while making a 90 degree turn at a light.
